2026 Klemp Klassic Recap

On Saturday, January 3, 2026, Ten Ring Junior Shooters hosted the second annual Klemp Klassic at the Liberty Shooting Center in Missoula, Montana. The Klemp Klassic continues to grow as a fun, competitive winter invitational and an excellent way for athletes to kick off the new year.

Named in honor of Marcus Klemp, following his USA Shooting National Championship titles in men’s air pistol, the Klemp Klassic expanded in its second year to include multiple air rifle disciplines in addition to air pistol. The match welcomed juniors and adults alike, with competitors shooting Sporter and Precision 3-Position Air Rifle, International Air Rifle, and Air Pistol.

All events were fired on Orion paper targets under CMP rules in a relaxed, non-sanctioned environment designed to encourage participation, learning, and strong competition.
